QIGONG
CULTIVATING ENERGY

OPEN THE DOOR
"Energy Cultivation" - From the Chinese traditions of combining specific breathing patterns with physical postures and movements to generate chi (vital energy). Used to enhance health and vitality, it is often used in concert with internal martial arts such as Tai Chi. By definition Qi in Chinese translates to breath/vitality (Prana) and gong to work or technique, hence - breath work. Many schools and techniques exist throughout the world. Historically practiced in Taoist and Buddhist traditions, these techniques were used as an adjunct and avenue to spiritual development. This method of developing chi energy has surfaced as an excellent health and therapeutic discipline - CHI HEALING.
